On Deck at WorkOne – Power Up launch, Community Job Fairs

Power Up Indiana

The 2025 Fall season at the WorkOne office features new and continuing initiatives to support Western Indiana’s workforce and employers, according to Brad Trusler, Business Service Manager for the Western Indiana Workforce Development Board.

Following Gov. Mike Braun’s announcement in September, Indiana formally launched the new Power Up initiative that starts in October.   The new Power Up initiative, which is funded through the Indiana Department of Workforce Development and administered by each region’s local Workforce Board focuses on helping employers develop existing talent and increase wages. “Interested companies are welcome to reach out to our office as this exciting initiative rolls out,” said Trusler.
